Playgroups
Playgroups are an opportunity to come and meet new friends and interact in a safe and relaxed environment. There are numerous playgroups in Tauranga and you can find one in a suburb near you. Most of them are run by Plunket but there are many that are run by community groups. Most are free to attend and tea and coffee are provided for the parents.
Bethlehem Playgroup
Bring along your little ones and come and enjoy plenty of fun activities, toys, games music and some company. Gold coin donation – morning tea is provided for kids and adults.

Mums and Bubs
and Bubs is run by Multiples Bay of Plenty, a support and information network for expectant and existing parents of multiples (twins, triplets etc) and their families.

Mums and Bubs at Radius Matua
Playgroup held at Radius Matua Resthome. A great way to put a smile on a grans face while meeting other mums and bubs in a relaxed environment.

Oropi Playgroup
Oropi Playgroup is a community playgroup run by a group of volunteer parents. All visitors are welcome to attend 3 free sessions to see if this is the right place for you and your children and if you decide to continue then you will placed on a roll.

Papamoa Beach Tavern Playgroup
Free playgroup where little ones can play and run free in the fenced courtyard. Weekly activities, follow their facebook page to stay up to date.

The Baby Buddies Club: Retirement Village Visits
A voluntary community group of mums, caregivers and their bubs who give a little of their time and visit the elderly in retirement villages in the Tauranga community. Visits occur at various retirement villages around the city. Stay up to date by following their facebook page.
