Colourstrings Music & Movement
Colourstrings is recognized world-wide for its unique and intuitive approach to music-learning, using a combination of Kodály, Orff and Dalcroze methods. In a Colourstrings class your child will: sing and dance, be imaginative, play instruments, focus on learning new skills and have fun! Children will experience and learn musical concepts such as: pulse, rhythm, pitch, dynamics, melody, tempo, character, form and style, in an enjoyable, stimulating and structured way and at an age-appropriate level.
BabyBallet
babyballet® is the World’s Leading Preschool Programme! Each class is delivered with an ideal mix of dance and fun and is the perfect introduction to dance. Our babyballet® teachers can adapt their dance classes to fit each individual child’s needs. We have over 8 classes per week at two convenient locations – Arataki Community Centre and Papamoa Sport and Recreation Centre
Ballet.Culture
Offering two preschool ballet classes. Mini Dancers (designed for our tiniest dancers. Learning movement through music). Recommended age: 2 to 3.5 years. Preschool Ballet (for those who are ready for an introduction to ballet. Choreographed in a fun and exciting way) Recommended age: 3.5 to 5 years.
Dance Avenue
Dance Avenue is based in Greerton and offers 3 different styles of preschool dance classes. These include Move n Groove, Ballerina Stars and Tiny Tumblers.
I Dance Studio
I Dance Studio offer the preschool dance classes where children can safely and creatively explore self expression. Tiny Movers and Tiny Stars are classes available for under 5.
KJ Studios
KJ Studios offer a ‘Creative Kids’ programme is designed for children that are still too young to sit exams but love to get moving. It is a great base for your children to learn the foundation technique set for them to then branch off into our examination classes in the style of their choice. Classes cater for 2-6 year olds and dance styles include hip-hop, jazz and ballet.
Mt Dance Co
Mt Dance Co offer a Princess Ballerina classes for 2+ years and Preschool Tiny Tots for 2-4 years.
Urban Dance
Urban Dance teaches children and young adults authentic Hip Hop dance. There is a preschool class for 3-4 years – Urban PreSkul.
Wanderlust Dance & Fitness
Wanderlust offer preschool creative dance classes for 3-5 years. Classes will teach coordination and creative through movement. Students will learn short routines and activities to modern music.
